GOOD WORDS

Modern Good’s finished product speaks for itself: it’s of the highest professional quality, perfectly captures the spirit of a brand, and can stand against the work put out by firms that are infinitely larger and have endless resources. But what truly sets Modern Good apart from its peers is it’s ability to work with a client. For us at Newburgh Brewing, Modern Good expertly shepherded us to a finished product that was truly second-to-none. From the original creation of our Purple Heart logo, to our iconic Cream Ale can. Modern Good created a theme and a vision for our company without us even realizing it. And they expertly took our opinions, recommendations, and ideas, and seamlessly weaved them into our overall image.

After 35 years, The Philly Pops was reconsidering its identity, brand, and overall marketing strategy. The Philly Pops challenged Modern Good to reinterpret its identity through the creation of the 2014-2015 season show identities and brochure. With a tight deadline, Modern Good, under the creative leadership of Matt Bouloutian, worked efficiently with the Pops management and deftly moved The Philly Pops identity into a brilliant and colorful new visual chapter with 6 dazzling show posters and a smartly designed brochure presenting the entire season in a single glance. Modern Good is a brand smart studio.

Modern Good is one of the firms I know I can call no matter what the project, because they create solutions based on the design problem presented rather than applying a style to everything they do. Modern Good is thoughtful, creative and great collaborators.

We have worked with Modern Good on every aspect of our brand and identity development. He has captured the essence of who we are as an arts organization and not only singled us out in a way that is distinguished but also speaks to the wide ranging audience we hope to attract.

At Pig Iron, most of our theatrical work was focused on distilling complex ideas into expressive gestures – using bodies, sets, sound, and lights to ask questions and tell stories in the most unexpected ways. Matt’s work as a designer embodies many of the same principles – he has an almost unparalleled talent for taking a complicated concept that should be impossible to express simply, and then doing exactly that.

Year after year, Modern Good continues to deliver incredible design that is new, fresh and not like anything else we have seen. From brainstorming, photo shoots to creative conceptualization, it is a pleasure working Modern Good. Matt is not only an amazing creative director but an outstanding person and professional with an impeccable eye for detail and wonderful sense of humor. Always willing to go above and beyond, Matt always delivers a stunning creative piece within timelines and budget. I cannot say enough of how much of a pleasure it is to work with Matt and how he has taken our marketing pieces for Shut Up & Dance to the next level.

The final product that Modern Good provided exceeded our expectations. Modern Good’s most substantial impact was the development of our website.
